These flowers can be invasive, but stop before you decide not to plant them, they are an annual that reseeds itself, they are pretty flowers that dry well, just by hanging upside down, the dried flowers can be used in flower arrangements or any other thing that you would use dried flowers in, they are edible and can be used to add striking color to salads, it also makes delicious tea,  it is a little bit sweet and slightly tastes like cloves but as with any flower, some people do have allergies and should not consume. The best was to try them out for growing is to plant them in a pot and put them on a patio or deck and deadhead the flowers before they go to seed, this cuts down on regrowth.

Another good reason to plant Bachelor Buttons is that they are pollinator attractors
