Tomato Plants Grown In Organic Soil For Sale (local pick up only)

I have a large variety of tomato plants grown in organic soil, they are in 16oz cups and are at least 12 inches tall. Some are bigger than the others I also have gallon size for $8, I do free local pick up. You can see full descriptions in the Country Store listed under Starts

Alice’s Dream

   This tomato is one of the most beautiful tomatoes you will ever grow, it is sweet, complex tomato flavor, and wonderful citrus aroma, it is a favorite to sell at farmers markets, is best for salads and sandwiches.

Amish Paste

   Paste tomatoes are excellent for making sauces, paste, and used for canning they have a more firm texture that stands up to cooking, they also work well for stuffing. Ananas Noire

   A multicolored flesh featuring shades of red, green, pink, and yellow, name translates to Black Pineapple, it is a large beefsteak tomato best eaten raw

Beefsteak

   A large red heirloom that is good for sandwiches, rich in flavor

Black Krim:

   Black Krim tomato is said to be one of the best flavored of the Beefsteaks, it is sweet and juicy and has a smokey aroma. color not quite black, acidic full flavor, smokey aroma, beefsteak

Campari

   Tomatoes A hybrid indeterminate tomato that originated in Italy. Camparis are about the same size as a Roma but more round in shape and has a firm texture, it is great for salads, sauces or antipasto Campari Tomatoes grow best in soil that is light and drains well and is rich in nutrients. Consistent watering is a necessity, Dont let them get dry, keep them moist but not over watered. I usually fertilize them a couple of times through the season , I use fish fertilizer and Banana peel water alternately They will need to be trellised or caged, they grow 5 to 8 feet tall and mature in 70 to 90 days.

Celebrity

   Great slicing tomato, Celebrity tomatoes are easy to grow in most conditions they are usually eaten sliced or raw in sandwiches, they also make good sauce and soups.

Early Girl

   An indeterminate F-1 hybrid, It is popular with home gardeners mainly for the fact that it matures in 50 to 60 days, it is prolific and has extreme tolerance to drought and blossom end rot.

Classic Grape

   A grape sized tomato, great for snacking and salads, sweet and perfect for just popping into the mouth straight out of the garden. They are also good for pan roasting.

Green Zebra

   A great way to liven up a salad, they add beautiful color and a sweet tartness, they make great salsa also. Jess’s Red Heirloom Tomato This is just a good old fashioned large red heirloom tomato, I was gifted these seeds and don’t know the variety, I have been growing it for 3 years in a row and will continue to have it in my garden, it is sweet and juicy and packed with flavor.

Pink Bumble Bee

   This little cherry type tomato is sweet and tangy, they are pinkish with yellow stripes, great for snacking, makes beautiful appetizers, delicious in salads or kabobs Prairie Fire This is one of the sweetest tomatoes, it measures 10 on the Brix scale, it is red with green to orange sparks of color making it a beautiful presentation for salads, appetizers and garnish

Principe Borghese  

Principe Borghese is a plum-shaped Italian heirloom variety that has very little juice and few seeds making it one of the best tomato varieties for sun drying or dehydrating because of its low water content

Queen Of The Night

   This is probably one of the most beautiful tomatoes, it is stunning for garnishes and salads, it does take a little longer to ripen but is worth the wait

San Marzano

   These are touted for making the best sauce, they have few seeds and are somewhat hollow. they are a long and thin tomato Italian Roma This tomato is beautiful, it is sweet and doesn’t have many seeds, it holds up well for cooking on a pizza, makes great paste and sauce or diced in salads, it is smaller than the Amish Paste but is just as delicious.

Orange Stripey

   Yellow and red orange stripes in color, such a beautiful tomato, the ripe flesh is soft, juicy, and extremely tender

Pineapple

   A huge yellow heirloom with red undertones, sweet, tangy and juicy

Yellow Heirloom

   A sweet Juicy large yellow heirloom. I am not sure of the variety but this one is worth having in the garden

Sun Gold

   Super sweet, range from orange to red, perfect for pan roasting or salads,    but my favorite is to eat them right off the bush, they hardly ever make it out of the garden

Black Cherry

   Rich complex flavor, cherry size, burgundy to purplish to black , great for snacking and salads

Black Strawberry

   Exquisite cocktail tomatoes, red and purple-black skin, use for garnishing, snacking, salads, or roasting on kabobs Blue Beauty These full flavored tomatoes are named Blue Beauty for a reason, their beautiful color makes them popular among chefs and any gardener that wants to add unique colors to their gardens

Brads Atomic Grape

   Award winning, perfect blend of sweetness and acidity, and a hint of earthiness, amazing color

Brown Sugar

   This is a Russian beauty, a chocolate colored sweet and satin textured tomato

Charlie Chaplin

   Makes a very unique looking stuffed tomato with its accordion shape, the slices are ruffled and make it perfect for garnishing, but the flavor is sweet and rich and is wonderful raw or in cooked dishes

Sart Roloise

   A gorgeous beefsteak type tomato, its deep purple shoulders that fade into yellow make this a most outstanding colored variety, it is sweet and tart and works well with salads, soups, slicing for sandwiches or as a beautiful garnish

Wooly Kate Yellow

   A cocktail sized tomato that won’t disappoint, it is super sweet, they would fantastic on a charcuterie board, if you are looking for something different, this would be a good choice Fruit Description: very sweet, yellow with black shoulders, fruit may have a peach like fuzz
